Privacy Policy

Plain language, no legal padding. What we collect, why, and what happens to it.

The short version

We don't run analytics or tracking scripts on this site, we don't sell or share your information with advertisers, and the contact form doesn't send your details to a server we control — it opens your own email client with your message pre-filled, so it goes straight from you to us. That's the whole picture; the rest of this page just spells it out in more detail.

What we collect

  • Contact form: name, email address, budget range, and your message — only when you choose to submit it, and only sent via your own email client to zypherixlab@gmail.com. We don't store form submissions on a server.
  • WhatsApp / email links: if you message us directly via WhatsApp or email, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp's or your email provider's own privacy policy, not this one.
  • Standard web request data: like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and the third-party services below receive basic request information (such as IP address) automatically as part of serving the page — this is normal web infrastructure, not something we actively collect or review.

Third-party services this site uses

A few external services help this site run. Each may receive standard request data (like your IP address) as part of how the web works, independent of anything we do:

  • Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used across the site.
  • GitHub's public API — powers the live activity feed on the Home page, reading publicly available repository data. No visitor information is sent to GitHub beyond a standard request.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you click through to message us on WhatsApp.

Cookies

We don't set tracking or advertising cookies. The site may use minimal local browser storage (not a cookie sent to a server) to remember small preferences, like whether you've seen the intro animation before — nothing tied to your identity, and nothing sent anywhere.

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and similar regional data protection principles, you can ask us what information we hold about you (realistically, whatever you've sent us directly via a form or message), ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us not to contact you again. Email zypherixlab@gmail.com and we'll sort it out directly — no formal process needed.

If this changes

If we add analytics, a third-party form service, or anything else that changes what's collected, we'll update this page to reflect it — not quietly change our practices behind an unchanged policy.

Questions

This policy is written in plain language to be genuinely useful, not as a substitute for formal legal advice. If you have questions about how your information is handled, email us directly at zypherixlab@gmail.com.
